Making Calls Through MySpace

December 22nd, 2007 by askweb20

You can now make calls through MySpace. Yes, they have recently installed the features of Internet phone calls in their website through their partnership with Skype.

Talking with another friend in MySpace is no longer limited to tapping the keyboard and sending them via IM or email. Literally, at the click of a button, you can connect with another friend in MySpace through a call to your friend’s computer or phone. That is, if you have Skype accounts.

Now, at least, you don’t have to open multiple windows in your computer, you can have the features of MySpace and Skype in one platform.

Calls made from a PC to another PC are free but PC calls to a telephone do entail a cost, as well as other extra services provided by Skype. MySpace and Skype will then share revenues. This service is now available for the 110 million members of MySpace in over 20 countries worldwide. Around 25 million users have installed the MySpace IM.

To prevent annoying telemarketers, phone spammers and unsolicited messages to knock on MySpace users, you cannot make or receive calls from anyone who is not your friend. Skype has been tightly integrated into MySpace.
