Social Networking to Go Mobile

Internet users and online social networkers tend to have more technology, own mobile devices and purchases digital entertainment products according to Ipsos Insight. The international social networker likewise has greater access to mobile devices with more features.

With this trend, the world is likely to see social networkers, bloggers, and maybe other Web 2.0 users go mobile in the near future. More than 50% of people engaged in social networking used their mobile phones and other devices in sending and receiving SMS, emails, and in surfing the net for information.

Surprisingly, social networkers outside the US tend to use mobile devices that have more features such as mp3s. In terms of owning technology, however, those in the United States possess more. This includes cable TV, HDTV sets, digital cameras and other gadgets.

Watching TV and videos, playing online games, as well as listening to radio and online music have all been transferred to the Internet. TV shows and movies are also being downloaded online by both US and international social networkers.

Social networkers are making heavy use of Web 2.0 and as the Internet becomes more integrated with radio, TV, mobile devices and every other media there is, more people will come into the fray and join the Web 2.0 bandwagon, only by that time, it might have already gone mobile.
